A hybrid vehicle is either a combination of a gas engine and electric battery or the same setup with the ability to plug your vehicle in and charge it for a short electric travel distance. An EV model relies solely on electric power to move your vehicle.
Electric vehicles can charge at home using a Level 1 or Level 2 Charging setup. If you're on the road, you can visit a growing network of Fast-Charging DC Stations to charge up while you're on the go.
The cost of electricity will depend on your location and what your electricity normally costs. Typically, most electric vehicles charge at a rate of $0.15 per kilowatt-hour.
